On tour

Guitar Virtuoso Harry Sacksioni is always on the move and doesn´t look back for very long. Recently he has finished his 40 year performance jubilee tour and the most passionate guitarist of the Netherlands starts with a complete new solo programmeAdrenalineagain. The new compositions of his latest CD of the same name are central to this programme. He shows himself in extremities. From very modest compositions such as ‘Geland’ - written after a fearful flight experience -and the rural Migliorinni, up to the top of his technical capacities in compositions such as Adrenalineand My engine is runningWe can listen to Impressive compositions such as Amsterdam Arena, the many times seenKiller Queenon YouTube, his rewrite of Steve Howe’s The Clap, and his on ragtime based composition Free at Last, which he plays on the Dobro .

This year Harry also released a special edition Time Spirit/Tijdgeest.It is a tryptich of a DVD Heart Labour (his live performance is the focus, including a very extensive interview, and all his other musical activities are enlightened), a anecdote book ‘Dat kunnen ze allemaal wel zeggen!’and a CD Tijdgeest/Time Spirit with the best compositions of his earlier work, all rerecorded.

In oktober 2009 the latest CD Adrenaline was released. At the beginning of last theatre season the edition of his life work, a guitar method as well for starting guitarists as advanced guitarists was released.: The Sacksioni Method,The fourth edition is already out.

Harry Sacksioni has been awarded the Royal Knighthood because of The Sacksioni Method, his devotion and encouragement of young guitarists in particular, his unselfish dedication to incurable children and because of his 40 years of performance without missing one season!.
